This is a beautiful Vintage and extremely rare metal Telescopic Fly Rod made by J.C. Higgins No. 3026. High Quality S.R.Co. Closed it is only 35 1/2 and open all the way it is 8' 7. Cosmetically it is in fantastic condition. The first section is a dark green and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th sections which get progressively smaller in diameter are almost a shinning copper color. All the chrome guides and ferrels are perfect as it slides open and closes nicely; metal is all perfect with no dents or bends. If you're a collector of rare rods, especially metal rods, this is definitely a vintage piece that you will want. (it does not come with sock or tube)
